Comfort and Fit
Both pieces are pre-shrunk, but the hoodie runs one size larger due to its intentional oversized cut. If you like a looser fit, stay true to size; otherwise, size down. The crewneck is more fitted - I normally wear a Large, and the Large fits like a classic cut, not tight but not baggy. The hoodie’s fleece interior is plush and traps heat better, which is great for colder months. The crewneck uses lighter 100% cotton that breathes more, so it works as a layering piece or solo in spring and fall.
Style Versatility for Different Occasions
The crewneck is the more versatile choice. I wore it with dark jeans for a casual office day, with joggers for lounging, and even with shorts on a cooler summer evening. It never felt out of place. The hoodie screams streetwear - throw it on with cargo pants or distressed denim and you look ready for a concert or a night out. But with shorts, the hoodie feels bulky. Also, the crewneck’s lack of a hood makes it easier to layer under a jacket or denim vest.
Durability and Care
After five washes, the hoodie showed slight pilling on the inside fleece, but the exterior held up well. The crewneck’s 100% cotton developed a softer hand but did shrink about half an inch in length (so if you are between sizes, go up). Neither faded noticeably from the black colorway. The hoodie’s polyester reinforcement helps it keep shape, while the crewneck might need a tumble dry on low to prevent stretching.
