How to Choose the Right Size
Measure Yourself (or an Existing Tee)
Grab a measuring tape. If you don't have one, a piece of string and a ruler works fine. Here's what to measure:
- Chest: Wrap the tape under your armpits and around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
- Waist: Measure around your natural waistline, right at the belly button.
- Hips: Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips. This matters if you want a hoodie that falls straight instead of flaring.
If you're using an existing shirt that fits well, lay it flat and measure:
- Pit to pit: Measure straight across from under one arm to under the other.
- Length: From the top of the shoulder seam to the bottom hem.
- Sleeve: From the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
That gives you the garment's dimensions, which you can directly compare to the charts below.
Know Your Fit Preference
This is where personal taste comes in. AMP's own members have different preferences. Agent 00 famously goes one size up for that cozy, oversized feel. Duke prefers his hoodies true to size so they don't bunch up when he moves around. Kai usually wears a size that fits but has a little room in the chest.
There are three basic categories:
- True to size: Get exactly your measured size. This gives you the "designed" look.
- Relaxed: Go one size up if you want extra room without completely losing shape.
- Oversized: Go two sizes up for a baggy, almost street-cast silhouette.
For heavyweight fleece like the AMP Premium Hoodie, going two sizes up can make the sleeves look a little long, so we generally recommend one size up for that look.
AMP Premium Hoodie Sizing
The flagship 2026 piece is the AMP Premium Hoodie, a 80% cotton, 20% polyester pullover with a brushed interior. That 320gsm fleece is noticeably heavier than typical fan merch. It's meant to hold its shape, but it also gives a little over time.
Here's the official size chart for the hoodie:
| Size | Chest Width (in) | Body Length (in) | Sleeve Length (in) |
| S | 20.5 | 26.5 | 24.5 |
| M | 22 | 27.5 | 25 |
| L | 23.5 | 28.5 | 25.5 |
| XL | 25 | 29.5 | 26 |
| XXL | 26.5 | 30.5 | 26.5 |
Chest width is measured flat from pit to pit. So for a person with a 42-inch chest, an XL gives you a total chest circumference of 50 inches. That's an 8-inch ease, which is comfortable. A large would give you 47 inches total - a slightly more snug fit.
The sleeve length is measured from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. If you're between sizes on both chest and sleeve, go with the chest measurement. Sleeves can shrink slightly after the first wash if you use high heat, which leads us to the next point.
In the "AMP Reacts: Hoodie Edition" video from June 2026, the group tested the hoodie on three different body types. Their takeaway was consistent: true to size for a clean, fitted look, one size up for all-day comfort. They also reminded everyone to wash in cold water and air dry to keep the fleece intact.
AMP Classic T-Shirt Sizing
The AMP Classic T-Shirt is a lighter, breathable tee that's become a summer staple. It's $24.99 and features a slightly dropped shoulder, giving it a relaxed streetwear feel without being oversized.
Here's the official size chart:
| Size | Chest Width (in) | Body Length (in) | Sleeve Length (in) |
| S | 18.5 | 27 | 15.5 |
| M | 20 | 28 | 16 |
| L | 21.5 | 29 | 16.5 |
| XL | 23 | 30 | 17 |
| XXL | 24.5 | 31 | 17.5 |
These measurements are for the garment laid flat. You'll notice the tee has less overall ease than the hoodie, but the drop shoulder makes it comfortable for most body types. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for the tee because the cotton will breathe better and you can always layer it.
During Mafiathon 3, Kai wore a white Classic Tee for a full day and mentioned how the collar didn't stretch out by the end. That's a good sign for a $24.99 shirt. Just don't toss it in the dryer; let it air dry to keep that collar quality.
Other Tops: Polo and Tank
The AMP Polo Shirt ($34.99) runs slightly slimmer than the tee. If you usually wear a large in the Classic Tee, you might want to go up to an XL in the polo, especially if you plan to wear it for a more polished look. The AMP Tank Top ($19.99) follows the chest width of the tee but shorter length, so use the tee's chest measurement and go with the shorter length.
When in doubt, measure your favorite existing top and compare it to the appropriate size chart.
